The 100,000-point Infinite Privilege ($399 annual fee) includes a 45,000-point anniversary bonus in year two, making the effective yield on the $5,000 spend higher than the Infinite if you hold the card for two years. The math works best when you have a specific transfer partner and cabin in mind.

Chase's transfer bonus to Aeroplan gives most cardholders a 20% uplift, and co-branded Aeroplan cardmembers get 30% if they transfer at least 50,000 points (capped at 25,000 bonus per year).
