Air Canada is offering 5 bonus Aeroplan miles per CAD on economy fares (excluding Basic) for travel November 1-30, booked by September 3. That's a 5x bonus on top of the base earn, which for non-elite members is a paltry 1 mile per CAD, yielding a total of 6x on eligible base fare and carrier surcharges only. Taxes, fees, and partner flights don't count. This beats the usual double-miles promos, but only if you have a planned Air Canada economy trip in November and can book before the deadline.

Air Canada Aeroplan is offering up to a 25% discount on award redemptions for flights from Canada to destinations within Canada, the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, South America, and Asia-Pacific. You must book by August 18, 2026, for travel between September 8, 2026, and June 30, 2027. This is a straightforward percentage-off promo, not a glitch, and it covers a wide range of regions, making it one of the broader Aeroplan discounts available.

Chase's transfer bonus to Aeroplan gives most cardholders a 20% uplift, and co-branded Aeroplan cardmembers get 30% if they transfer at least 50,000 points (capped at 25,000 bonus per year). That turns Seattle/Vancouver to Tokyo business into 43,000 Ultimate Rewards points for co-branded holders, or 46,000 for others—effective costs of $645 or $690 at 1.5 cents per point. The sweet spot is the stopover: add one outside North America for just 5,000 more Aeroplan points. But only move points if award availability is physically bookable on your route; don't speculate on devaluation risk.

Chase's 20% Aeroplan transfer bonus runs August 12 through September 30, and Chase Aeroplan cardholders can stack it with their standard 10% bonus on transfers of 50,000+ points, making it a 30% total. That lifts the Pay Yourself Back rate of 1.25 cents per point to an effective 1.625 cents apiece against travel charges, up to the 200,000-point annual cap. For non-cardholders, the 20% alone still improves the math on sweet spots like 60,000-point East Coast transatlantic business or 85,000-point transpacific business.

Air Canada's new winter routes open three fresh Aeroplan sweet spots. The Vancouver-Sapporo service is the only North American nonstop to Hokkaido, with 20 Signature Class seats on the 787-9. Montreal and Toronto each get Tenerife service on the A321XLR, offering warm-weather escapes. These routes run from late October through April, with Sapporo starting December 17. Award availability will be tight given the limited frequencies, so book at schedule open.

The Redemption Days promo takes 10,000 points off hotels (code RDHOTEL26) or 15,000 points off car rentals (code RDAUTO26) on redemptions of at least 50,000 points. At the minimum, the car discount is 30% effective versus 20% for hotels, but both shrink as the point total rises. Stack the hotel code with Aeroplan's Fourth Night Free benefit if you hold an eligible co-branded card, but watch the order: the free night comes off first, so a 60,000-point stay drops to 45,000 and no longer qualifies for the code. The car rental code is the stronger play, especially at the floor, but always compare cash prices to know your cents per point.

Air Canada's bonus math adds the multiplier on top of base points, so a 3x offer actually yields 4x total, and a 3.5x offer yields 4.5x total. New bonuses on routes like Boston (3x), Halifax-Toronto (3.5x), Frankfurt, Manila, Santiago, and Tulum (each 2x) are all bookable by August 3 for travel through December 15, 2026. The Toronto City Airport to U.S. cities (3x) deal extends to September 30. No registration needed — just book cash fares in Economy (excluding Basic).

Air India's new 787-9 goes daily nonstop on Delhi-Toronto from August 1, 2026, shaving three hours off the westbound leg by dropping the Vienna refuel stop. Aeroplan's fixed partner chart prices business class at 90,000 points one way in the 6,001-8,000 mile band, versus Air Canada's own dynamic 256,000 points on the same route. No fuel surcharges, just the $39 CAD partner booking fee. The 787-9 brings Elevate Ascent suites in business with 1-2-1 layout and sliding doors, plus Air India's first premium economy on a Canada-India route—though that cabin can't be booked as an Aeroplan award.

Air Canada Aeroplan's latest buy points offer runs through July 19, 2026, and delivers up to a 110% bonus — the highest in recent memory. But the bonus is personalized: some members see only 90% max. At the 110% tier, buying 90,000+ points nets a cost of 1.79 Canadian cents per point, but after GST/HST the true cost rises to 1.88–2.06 cents depending on your province. With a standard valuation of 1.5 cents per point, you need to target redemptions worth at least 2.1 cents per point to break even. Only pull the trigger if you have a specific high-value award in mind.

The new Hyatt-Aeroplan partnership mostly delivers poor value on conversions and redemptions — 50,000 Hyatt points for a 30,000 Aeroplan award, 2:1 point transfers in either direction, and 500 Aeroplan points per Hyatt stay are all bad. The bright spots: elite members get a $20 CAD Air Canada flight credit annually, and status challenges can unlock meaningful elite tiers.
