Turkish Airlines sale: 30% off economy, but only from Istanbul. Book by Sep 15.

Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles is offering 30% off economy class awards on select routes to/from Istanbul and destinations in Africa and the Middle East. The discount applies to one-way or round-trip awards for travel between September 1 and December 15, 2026, but you must book by September 15. Awards are priced per segment, and the sale is limited to Turkish Airlines-operated flights only — no codeshare or Star Alliance partners. This is a fixed discount, not dynamic, so the miles saved depend on the standard award price for your specific route.

No Qantas Points earning on Condor, but 108k books Bangkok or Phuket-Frankfurt Business.

Condor is now a Qantas Frequent Flyer redemption partner, live from 1 September 2026, with seats priced on the Partner Classic Flight Reward table. A one-way Business Class reward from Bangkok or Phuket to Frankfurt costs 108,000 Qantas Points; the Bangkok-Abu Dhabi fifth-freedom segment is 73,400. This is redemptions only, so no Qantas Points earning on Condor flights for now, but carrier charges are minimal and Business availability from Asia and the United States can be relatively good. That gives Qantas members another intra-Europe option alongside British Airways, Iberia, Finnair, Air France and KLM, especially for piecing together Australia-Europe routings through Asia or North America.

the play

Look for Condor Business availability from Bangkok or Phuket to Frankfurt as an Asia-side connector for a Qantas Points Europe redemption.
