Finnair is extending complimentary in-flight internet to all Finnair Plus Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Lumo members starting September 1, 2026, across its entire Airbus fleet. The catch: on long-haul flights to Asia and North America, service is limited to email, messaging, and light browsing after take-off — no streaming. Within Europe, you get full streaming, browsing, and messaging from take-off to landing on narrowbody A321, A320, and A319 aircraft. If you already paid for internet on a qualifying flight, Finnair will automatically refund it to your original payment method, though processing may take time.

Lufthansa Group has harmonized guest access for First Class passengers and HON Circle members, now allowing two adult guests plus children under 18 into First Class Lounges and the Frankfurt First Class Terminal. Previously, Lufthansa required the second adult to be a spouse or life partner; now any two companions qualify, provided they hold a same-flight boarding pass. This is a meaningful upgrade for status holders traveling with friends, colleagues, or extended family, especially as lounge access rules elsewhere tighten.
