Volaris is adding Guadalajara to Atlanta, Guadalajara to Washington Dulles, and Puebla to Chicago O'Hare, but launch dates and frequencies are unannounced. The ultra-low-cost carrier targets VFR and leisure travelers with nonstop service from its Guadalajara base and Puebla. With no sale page live yet, the play is to monitor Volaris' booking engine for these routes to open and jump on introductory pricing before the fares stabilize.

Elite members can take 20,000 points off qualifying redemptions of 70,000 points or more until August 10, but the percentage shrinks as the total grows: a 70,000-point hotel stay costs 50,000 after the code (28% off), while a 140,000-point stay only saves 14%. Since the travel code is unlimited-use, split longer stays into separate 70,000-point bookings to double the discount. The gift card play is worth a look too: an Air Canada $750 eGift Card at 71,250 points falls to 51,250 with the code, a 1.46 cents-per-point value that can beat weaker flight redemptions without losing Status Qualifying Credits.
