AeroMexico Lounges: Elite Status Cut for Domestic-Only Itineraries Sep 1

Starting September 1, 2026, AeroMexico elite members — Platinum, Corporate Platinum, Titanium — lose lounge access on purely domestic flights. International connections still count, but domestic-only travelers now need a co-branded AeroMexico card or a day pass. Even domestic Premier Class no longer includes lounge access. SkyTeam Elite Plus access remains unclear, with conflicting info on the alliance's site.

Before September 1, 2026, secure an AeroMexico co-branded card or stock up on day passes if you frequently fly domestic-only on AeroMexico and want lounge access.
