PenFed is ending the annual fee waiver for Honors Advantage members on September 28, 2026. The Pathfinder card's $95 fee will apply even if you have military affiliation or a qualifying checking account. The card still offers up to $100 in domestic airline credits and up to $120 toward Global Entry or TSA PreCheck, but without the waiver, the math flips. For those who only kept the card for the free airline credit, this change makes it a net cost unless you use the full $220 in credits.
