American AAdvantage would hit you with 10% of the cash business fare, often $1,000+. Air Canada Aeroplan asks 2,500 points or 25 CAD. Atmos beats both: the infant costs nothing extra beyond the taxes on your adult ticket, even for premium cabins on partner metal like American first class. The revenue that other programs keep — and Atmos forgoes — stays with the loyalty program, not the operating airline, making this the industry's best lap infant policy.

Air Canada will announce five summer 2027 destinations on September 3, and the teaser video points to Oslo, Basel, Lagos, Dubrovnik, and Shannon from Toronto. These are thin transatlantic markets, likely flown by new A321XLRs except Lagos which needs a 787-9. European routes look seasonal, perhaps not daily; Lagos may start at three weekly. Doha and Guatemala City appear in the video but are not new.
