Delta SkyMiles American Express cardholders can book round-trip economy awards to Australia or New Zealand from many U.S. airports for just 25,500 SkyMiles thanks to a 15% cardholder discount. Non-cardholders pay 30,000 SkyMiles, still a strong value. Taxes run about $135 to Brisbane, with other destinations varying. One example: Atlanta to Brisbane in November. The deal has been live since early June 2026, but some dates have already sold out.

Rove Miles now transfers to Qantas at 1:1, with a 50% bonus through August 14, 2026, effectively giving you 1.5 Qantas points per Rove mile. The key value: Qantas offers better award availability on its own flights to Qantas members than to partner programs like American AAdvantage, Alaska Mileage Plan, or British Airways. That means you can book seats on Qantas that American members can't even see. Plus, Qantas has unique partners like El Al and Aircalin (to Noumea).
