Qantas tends to have expensive rates but sometimes releases first and business class seats from the US to Australia to its own members that aren't available to partners, so this bonus may unlock those cabins. You can also book Emirates business class via Qantas, but check surcharges and compare against Emirates Skywards before pulling the trigger.
