Etihad's new Abu Dhabi to Calgary corridor flies westbound in 14 hours 35 minutes, eastbound in 13 hours 55 minutes, on the Boeing 787-9. That's a long haul, and the 787-9's 32 business seats in a 1-2-1 layout are the premium target. The route launches October 25, just months after announcement, which means award space is limited but not impossible to grab.
